Two mobile demonstrations units will travel to 60 locations between 27 March and 2 June, showcasing solutions including Bravia displays, TEOS and a PTZ camera with AI auto-tracking.
Sony is to tour 60 locations across 17 countries in Europe, displaying technologies from its Professional Displays and Solutions business in two mobile demonstration units.
The two units making their way across Europe this spring will include demonstrations across the growing Bravia 4K Professional display range. The Sony workplace management solution TEOS will be in control of the installed devices and allow management of them remotely throughout the roadshow.
The displays will showcase BRAVIA supervisor as shown at ISE, wayfinding, corporate, education and digital signage solutions. Visitors will also be able to see a live demonstration of the new SRG-A40 pan-tilt-zoom camera with AI (artificial intelligence) auto-tracking.
This approach to showcasing Sony products will reduce the amount of equipment and people required to travel to small events and 1:1 demonstrations across Europe, as both visitors and Sony experts will be able to stay local, preventing the need for excessive travel.
The tour will also incorporate country-specific channel events and both vehicles are equipped with mounts donated by Peerless and a Rally Bar by Logitech.
Rik Willemse, head of sales at Sony Professional Displays & Solutions Europe, commented: “We’re delighted to be bringing hands-on professional demonstrations right into the heart of our channel partners’ premises, giving all those within their businesses the opportunity to see and experience the technologies first hand, as well as a sneak peek into the future of Sony Professional Displays & Solutions products.
“Whilst we can’t visit everyone with these 65 sq m satellite offices ,we hope that combined with the other local events we are hosting as part of the tour they will allow us to connect with and engage as many of our partners and their end users as possible. Demonstrating that Sony is prepared to go the extra mile to meet the needs of its customers.”
The tour will run for 10 weeks from 27 March to 2 June, and a full list of locations can be found here: pro.sony/roadshow .
